Why “True Course”
Your true course is the direction you actually hold — not the plan you made on a good day, but the one you keep to on an ordinary one.
The phrase comes from navigation, where it means the heading you end up holding after the wind and the current have had their say. You don’t need a boat to know that feeling. You made a plan on Sunday, and by Wednesday life had opinions about it.
A bad week. A rough winter. A diagnosis nobody ordered. You don’t get a vote on most of that. You get a vote on whether you keep heading where you meant to go.
